Crush Jewel

Pei Chen Liu is a Barcelona Based Taiwanese jewelry maker and designer.

After pursuing both art forms in words and garment with her studies in textile and literature, she decided to take a different approach
to express her sense of art, in jewelry making.

In 2017 summer Pei arrived in Spain to study traditional jewelry making.

She found the passion through out the process; her way of creating a piece is often without
sketch, she finds it inspiring to let her hands and instinct guid her.
Her most known skill is wax carving; this technique is allowing her to express fluid and
organic shapes she observed, and translated in the creative process through free-hand wax
carving.

The story of Crush Jewel begins in  2022, when Pei Chen Liu, started to develop her debut collection: The Gazelle Collection and her artistic collection which in the same year some pieces from both collections were exhibited in Milan Jewelry Week and RVNHUS Gallery in Kolding, Denmark.
Her most recent works were exhibited in Cluster contemporary jewelry 2024 fair in london.

She then developed numerous collections that have graced numerous high end and prestigious pop-up markets like the Christmas market in Mandarin Oriental Barcelona and design market in the Design Museum Barcelona. Presently, her articles can be found in shops in the greater Barcelona area, New York city, London, and several exclusive digital artisan marketplaces.
