KAMASUTRA

KAMASUTRA

The collection aims to show that ‘the Kamasutra is beauty, not shameful’. It is a source of strength. It rallies for the empowerment of women. The teachings educated the people of ancient India about the positions of sexual intercourse, the reasoning and meaning of each, and their link to the beauty of love.

Many of the present day translations have modified the original content substantially to be far more focused upon the explicit. This has encouraged Hindu priests to decry the book as pornography and to seek a ban on its publishing and sale.
