"a generation of men who, even though they may have escaped shells, were destroyed by the war" - Erich Maria Remarque

Inspired by Remarque's book about boys who return from the war physically unharmed, but mentally destroyed, I tried to portray military uniform details as traces of harnesses left on garments. I combined the harness lines with writings in Braille to emphasize the concept of what is visible for the eye might not actually carry the same meaning behind it.
