My inspiration for this collection were two of my favorite TV shows, Spartacus and Game of Thrones. I really wanted to play around with draping that was prevalent in the Greco-Roman era, but give it a more sexy modern spin. I used some new fabrics in the Spring Summer 2013 collection notably silk chiffon and silk sateen and mixed these with colorful geometric African inspired prints in a colorful palette of pink, berry and white while paying attention to details such as pleats and pockets.
