BagBinding originates from the study of the craft of bookbinding technique, here applied to design a capsule collection of three bags. The recreation of the sensations provoked by touching ancient hand-bound books, sensations that are both tactile and visual, has become the leitmotif of a study based on the different types of sewing and casing. The intricate overlapping of the wire that is worked to hold firm the pages pushes us to rethink and reinterpret the concept of welding, as a structural element that evolves into a decorative one.
