And if, by the will of fate, one of them was born or became a master, he did not know what to do with his freedom. He was in a hurry to become a slave again - a slave to wealth, a slave to unnatural excesses, a slave to dissolute friends, a slave to his slaves. The vast majority of them were innocent. They were too passive and too ignorant.
