That Tender Light

That Tender Light

Inspired by the contrasting effects of light and dark, purity and immorality, That Tender Light references Lord Bryon’s poem, She Walks in Beauty.

Stephie captured the innocence & darkness portrayed in the poetry by filling a glass bowl with water, suspending white flowers & dripping black ink into the water through the flowers. As the ink twists elegantly around the flowers, Stephie recorded the results with drawings & photography.
