With a core focus on the city's environment I feel a strong connection to Dublins atmosphere. Living in the suburbs, throughout the years I have gathered a collection of images taken on journeys to and from the city centre of the city lights at night. These images document a journey. They are a visual record of life and hold nostalgic memories. My fascination with lights at night came from the idea that they show movement, energy and activity. This fascination went on to become the colour palette used for this collection Route Z. Looking at reds and oranges and black and white.
