A Room of Her Own

A Room of Her Own

We are inspired by Virginia Woolf’s <Room of One’s Own> this season, where in her address to female students at Cambridge, she speaks of a woman’s need for independence and “room” in society for creativity. We express this soft form of feminism in our color palette, where we employ delightful floral patterns in white, accented fluorescent jacquards in citrus colors, embellished with metallic embroideries. There is a contrast in soft and hard fabrics, e.g. silk crepe de chine against structural jacquards. Silhouettes are clean and crisp.
